THE ONE AND ONLY APP THAT MEASURES AC FREQUENCIES WITHOUT ADDITIONAL HARDWARE. This innovative and very unique app is capable of sensing and measuring frequencies of alternating currents and EMF directly, like a conventional frequency counter. No need for external hardware,

What can it do?

➤ Measure a frequency of an alternating current and EMF very precisely (+/-0.1Hz)

➤ Locating alternating fields

The AC Frequency Counter has a working range of 10Hz to approximately 200Hz with currents starting from below 250mA. You will be amazed how well it works given the limited hardware.

By just placing it next to a wire or holding it close to equipment, it will pick up the alternating field and analyzes it to determine the frequency. No need
to expose conductors or reaching around wires with a clamp.

The photo in the right screenshot shows the app in the lab: The conductor to the right of the iPhone carries an alternating current with a frequency near 200Hz and a peak current of about 210mA. A real frequency counter confirms the precision of this App.

A peak current of 210mA creates only a very weak magnetic field. In many real world situations, currents are much stronger. It is often times possible to pick up those alternating magnetic fields from a larger distance.

EMF frequencies of electrical equipment with transformers or motors emit much stronger alternating fields. In those cases it is usually possible to measure the frequency of that field from a much larger distance.

Who may find it useful?

In short, everyone who deals with electricity in any form, pros and hobbyist, engineers, electricians, students, HAM radio operators, tinkerers and hardware hackers, service technicians, home owners and anyone interested in science and technology.

Extensive documentation is available, in-app and online, including application examples, videos, online technical support and more.
